Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to customers using the 4CashFor.Gold service. 4cashfor.gold is operated by Punk Finance Limited, 18 Lon Teify, Swansea, SA2 0YB, United Kingdom.

Eligibility and ownership

You must be at least 18 years old and the legal owner of all items you send to us. You confirm items are not stolen, subject to dispute, or derived from illegal activity.

Verification

Before sending a gold pack, we may carry out a human verification call. We may request additional information, and we may decline service if verification cannot be completed.

Sending items

Items must be sent using Royal Mail insured services as instructed. Risk remains with you until items are received and signed for by us.

Valuation

Items are tested and valued based on current precious metal market prices. Testing may involve methods that can permanently mark items.

Offer, contact and acceptance

Once appraisal is completed:

• We will send a text message confirming the appraisal has been completed.
• We will attempt to contact you by phone to discuss the offer.

If you accept the offer by phone, payment will be transferred electronically immediately. Ownership of the items transfers to us once payment is issued, and items may be melted.

If you reject the offer by phone, your items will be returned to you.

If we are unable to reach you by phone, we will email you inviting you to contact us. If no contact is made within 3 days of notification, we will assume acceptance and issue electronic payment. Ownership then transfers to us and items may be melted.

Booked appointments

If you have phoned and booked an appointment to discuss the offer, payment will not be issued until that appointment has taken place. We will hold items securely pending the appointment.

If you accept at the appointment, payment will be made immediately. If you reject, your items will be returned.

Payment

Payments are made by electronic bank transfer only. We do not offer cash or cheque payments.

Loss or damage

If items are lost after receipt by us, liability is limited to the insured value of the delivery method used.

Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
